Bordeshale House offers supported accommodation for up to 6 men in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions. Residents are serious about recovery and have either been through detox or are on established prescription alternatives.
The support we offer is within a fully-furnished, family-style home instead of an institutionalised hostel environment. The framework of support is based around an addictions recovery programme and includes key working, mentoring, practical training in life skills and emotional support. We will work fully with other professionals who are already supporting residents in other ways.

Constance Road is our phase 2 house and is low-level supported accommodation. It is a six-bedroom house with shared kitchen, lounge and bathrooms.
The emphasis in Constance Road is on residents being independent and taking responsibility for their own lives and issues. They are supported in this by regular key-working and group support meetings.
The house is for those who have sustained a period of abstinence from illegal drugs and/or alcohol and are ready to start to look at training/voluntary work with a long term view to employment.
Constance Road is a small community of people who are supportive and encouraging of each other on the road to recovery. It is expected that all residents will work together to make Constance Road a safe and pleasant place to live.

Timbers offers supported accommodation for up to 6 women in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions while also being able to serve the needs of those exiting prostitution. Residents must be serious about their recovery and have either been through detox or are on established prescription alternatives.
The support we offer is within a fully-furnished, family-style home. The framework of support is based around an addictions recovery programme and includes key working, mentoring, practical training in life skills and emotional support. In addition to this support, we also run groups which are tailored for women coming out of prostitution. Some groups are designed to teach the life-skills needed for independence such as cooking, budgeting and looking after a home, whilst others will look at issues of identity, personal value and positive relationships.
The house is staffed during typical working hours on weekdays, with management on-call and a high level of security outside of these hours. The programme is run by trained staff with the help of committed volunteers who are asked to make a time commitment to ensure consistency for the women supported in the house.
We will work fully with other professionals who are already supporting residents in other ways. Residents can stay at the house up to a maximum of two years.
