The Bridge's Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - Spring 2010

In Spring 2010 we are planning to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge with a group made up of residents, staff and volunteers. We climbed Snowdon as a precursor to this last year and had a great time in the clouds!

The Yorskshire 3 peaks is a walking challenge climbing Pen-y-ghent (691m), Whernside (728m) and Ingleborough (723m); 3 of the highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. The walk is roughly 25 miles in total and we'll aim to complete it in less than 12 hours. The trip will happen over one weekend and we'll be sleeping over in a youth hostel the night before the walk. If you are interested in getting involved with the challenge, please do get in touch with us on either 0121 4424570 or by email at bridgehouse@thebridge.uk.net
