Challenge Name

Moustache marathon

After working with The bridge for 10 1/2 Years and those trapped in addiction for 17 years I see both the desperation everyday for hope of a better life, and celebrate the joy of those who come through no longer with addictive chains weighing them down. I long to see more. However this can only be done by support from others so come on, get on board and support me to raise a small amount towards this great work.

Adrian enters a movember challenge

I am joining my friend Sam in growing a moustache in November in order to raise money and the profile of the Bridge. I have never grown a moustache before and am pretty sure it will not suit me. However I want some help in deciding what to aim for so will be asking for people's opinions as to what type of upper lip hair growth to go for on facebook and twitter. The Bridge is an amazing organisation that offers 3 safe, clean, alcohol and drug free houses which offer a massive second chance to those who have had their lives ruled by substance misuse. They succeed in seeing huge positive life change in their residents; where families and relationships restored, debts repaid and people striving to be better for themselves, their community and their loved ones around them.

Sam Is Growing A Moustache!

The Bridge is a wonderful organisation that offers 3 safe, clean, alcohol and drug free houses which offer a massive second chance to those who have had their lives ruled by substance misuse. They succeed in seeing huge positive life change in their residents; where families and relationships restored, debts repaid and people striving to be better for themselves, their community and their loved ones around them. I am not very good at growing facial hair so I thought I would try and squeeze out a moustache this month to raise money and awareness for The Bridge. Im sure I will look stupid so please donate.

Birmingham Half Marathon

I'll be running the Bham Half Marathon for The Bridge in a couple of weeks. I started running in January and this will be my first (maybe last!) semi-serious distance! I've been a trustee for the Bridge for a couple of years now and so have seen first hand the difference they're making. Any donations, big or small, are equally appreciated! Cheers, John
